      Good value, minus the firmware based software

      This works OK for me. There is a built in backup program, which I wouldn't use, that will eventually cost you a contract if you use it beyond 30 days. But I just ignore. It might be good, but I have other programs I use--Windows backup and Easus--so I don't need one more program that won't go away entirely unless I format it for use on a Mac.

      The Best 1 tb Storage

      I received this unit and was very impressed with size and quality. I have one file holding 738 gb of info and needed backup for storage. This is perfect. Linux Os works fast on this unit and if one wants can place a complete linux Os on this and set PC to Usb as first load of your Bios and wham you got a carry around fully loaded OS nsa don't like it but tuff.
