Lots of pros about the chin curtain with only one con
the chin curtain for the CL-17 clips onto the helmet with 3 plastic clips. Although it makes the helmet harder to put on, for me it is worth it to ride during the colder months as it cuts down on the wind entering the underside of the helmet drastically. It also keeps it a little quieter inside the helmet. Seems like it will stay on there pretty well.

Didn't think..
When I bought my helmet, I didn't think HJC provided chin curtains. So I went out and bought the first curtain I could find and it was.a terrible fit. This one fits beautifully for my model (17). Buy it. Thanks guys

Simple, small, works
Makes a difference to keep wind and noise down. HJC CL-17 let's air into helmet so in when riding or can noisy. Small, easy install, and no Velcro to rip the cheek pass like the other style chin curtain, works much better, but for 13.99 is more expensive.

Exactly what the cl-17 is missing to make a good helmet a great helmet
If you have the hjc cl-17 you absolutely need to buy this chin curtain. Easy installation, perfect fit looks like it came from the factory(which it should in my opinion) Cuts down on road noise and upwind without hindering ventilation. Also will keep bugs from deflecting off your jacket into your lid...
