Fixed error in cleaning process.
Replaced IDC /Home lite weed eater carb that was damaged in the cleaning process. Zama' s web site says do not use compressed air to blow out passages as it can damage the valves in the start pump body which is the section in the middle with the idle speed adjustment screw . Which requires a new carb or at least that section!

New life for a 20 year old John Deere trimmer
This carb was a direct replacement for the carb on my 20 year old John Deere S-1400 string trimmer. It took 10 minutes to remove the old carb clean up the mounting, install the new carb and test the trimmer. Started on the first pull, ran well (I did tweak the carb settings slightly after the engine warmed up). A great experience from start to finish.

Bought for my John Deere c1200. As others have said, does not come with a gasket. I was able to make one from gasket material at the parts store. That said, bolted right on and fired up first pull. No adjustment necessary and runs like new. Wish I did this a couple years ago. Wasted tons of time trying to adjust original carb.

Worked perfect out of the box. 9 times out of then they all require slight adjustments out of the box. This one did not. John Deere S1400 fired on first pull, spooled up with no problems, and idled correctly. Great value
