I make industrial quantities of string bags with it, and it goes down a storm with the recipients because it's so strong and sturdy. The thickness does vary a bit, but that doesn't usually matter for netting (and very often it's possible to trim off small side lumps in any case). And it's excellent value - much cheaper than buying it in the smaller reels.
