The seal supplied with the glass was melted together, and didn't stick to the rubberized frame that the pane is adhered to. Apply the seal with a strip of the backing paper and wait for it to stick to the frame before install. Final fit looks factory, no visible defects in the glass, and the seal immediately prevents water intrusion. Great for the price, just finicky install.
