I was looking for an OEM Dyson brush bar and thought that was what I got until I compared it to the original one. It has fewer brush plugs than the original one. That doesn't mean it is bad and won't work. I would just like to have been informed about the difference and that the original one was discontinued by Dyson. I expect it will work fine anyway.

Do Not Buy - Poor performance
Why the product is a good fit and does work, the number of and density of bristles is considerably less. States that item is replacement for Dyson animal vacuum this brush does not perform as well as a factory unit. The lack of bristle density and the number of bristle groups is probably what makes this unit perform so poorly. Works to some degree on hardwood/tile floors but performs poorly on carpet Why the product is a good fit and does work, the number of and density of bristles is considerably less.
