Bandai Namco's long-running RPG series returns with a classic fantasy setting and new open-world exploration in Tales of Zestiria. The story finds the Hyland Kingdom and the Rolance Empire battling for control of the continent of Glenwood, a land where negative human emotions can produce monsters named the Hellion, and where supernatural humanoids known as Seraphim interact solely with spiritually rich humans called Shepherds. Players control one such Shepherd, a Seraphim-raised human named Sorey, who seeks to defeat the Hellion and reunite the land.<br><br>Gamers are free to explore towns, dungeons, and expansive wilderness environments as they please, interacting with various NPCs and engaging in real-time battles. Combat scenarios find players using traditional attacks, spells, and special skills known as artes, and local geography can play a role in the effectiveness of attacks. Sorey and playable party member Rosé can also temporarily fuse with different Seraphim characters to create more powerful hybrid combatants. Characters and skills level up through battle, and as players explore they can unlock fast travel options and visit shops to buy or sell new gear. Multiplayer fans can also join three friends for local co-op multiplayer adventuring.

    Not What I Was Looking For

    I wouldn't say it's a completely bad game because I didn't play much of it. I liked Tales of Symphonia a lot more. For the PS4, I feel the graphics are below standard. The fighting in my opinion just isn't as fluid as the game mentioned above. Also, many added additions to the menu/items/techniques etc. I would try it first before buying at any price over 20$

    Enjoyable

    Aside from the battle system, which is really confusing and annoying, I really did enjoy the game. Story and characters are very well developed, and I got very addictive to it. However, I really wished if the battle system was much simpler
