    Better late than never...

    Friends and Family told me years ago that this was must see TV and I ignored them. 2 months ago I happened to catch the first season via streaming and the lightbulb burned bright in my head. The writing, characters, and production are all top notch and the kicker for me was the Executive Producer is Sean Hayes (Jack) of Will and Grace fame. I knew then to snatch up this series and eBay didn't disappoint.

    This five-year series utilized several strong elements from the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series and the older "Kolchak the Night Stalker" in a new and creative way. The artists involved created a highly enjoyable blend of Horror, Comedy, Drama and Fantasy. Fine acting and production values. Portland setting. The basic premise is that the Grimms' Fairy Tales were based on encounters the Grimms had with "Wesen," people who can transform into different human-animal shapes. They can allow people like us to see their transformations, or they can conceal them. The descendants of the Grimms can see these transformations even when the Wesen don't want them to.     A great fun watch!

    I watched this series when it was on tv, so i decided to buy the series and re-watch it. It was such a fresh concept in a world full of reality shows! It did lose so steam in the last season, but it has to be hard to keep the new ideas coming. Overall, a great watch!

    love this show and the dvd's!!!

    grimm was always my favorite show on Tv for alot of reasons. One that I grew up in Portland OR where it is filmed and I can almost always identify where they are shooting. That is fun and I loved the way they infuse comedy in amongst the scarey story lines. I love all the characters and how they have evolved and changed over the seasons. I wish NBC would bring this favorite show. It always seems once I find a show I really love, it is taken off the air too soon. NBC DID A HUGE MISTAKE WHEN THEY REMOVED GRIMM FROM THE AIR. MAKE IT RIGHT BRING IT BACK WITH THE SAME CAST. GET SMART.
