This console was tested with multiple PS3 games and worked fine. I tested with multiple PS2 and PS1 Games and they were not read by the system. The console shell is in poop condition and it seems there is a fair amount of dust inside. Parts of the outer shell are either not secured to system or broken off. There is a slight rattle inside the console but could possibly be due to small pieces of the shell that have broken off inside the console. The controller included has a bad left stick. No cables included. Sold as is
I wish Sony remembered the value of backward compatibility after the PlayStation 3. The PlayStation 3 was not overpriced when it was released. It was the first HD PlayStation that could also play Blu-ray movies and allow additional apps to be installed. It's still an awesome machine, but I said it's not a good value because demand has made the price skyrocket. This would not be an issue if the PlayStation 5 Pro could play all 4 previous generations of games.
