    Does the job...

    The network extender was easy to install and configure, doubled the range of my modem, and allowed me to operate my notebook, tablets, and phone on my Wi Fi in the garage and outside on the deck. It did the job it was designed to do... However, the old modem burned out a few days ago and I installed a Linksys modem, now I don't need the extender.

    Does not work Not recommend.

    Did not work in my shop to extend WiFi uses WiFi signal instead of Ethernet cable to router. Had green signal on extender but had no internet connection no matter where I put the extender did not help. Would not recommend this extender. There are better signal boosters out there looking into another one. Was cheap so not worried about returning it will just try on home WiFi. Was easy to set up though.

    Wifi LAN Jacks!

    This device is fantastic. Here's WHY... As an IT guy, I constantly find myself in situations where "I wish I had a data drop here." Now, I could run a cable through the ceiling, fish it through a wall, terminate each end, or even more professionally, terminate it with a wall jack. Yep.. I am very capable of doing that. Or.... I could plug this device into a power outlet. Connect a cable to it to a computer or laptop. And turn my WiFi into a LAN jack (4 of them), all the while repeating the WiFi signal, thus extending range. This device is a dream for SIP phones (that don't have WiFi capability), and for older desktops. The cost of them is about the same as buying a Wireless Adapter.     Extends network as promised but resulting speed is half the source

    does extend network as promised and set up was easy but resulting speed is half the source. so although is a solution, the cost in wireless speed suffers. My bandwidth went from 25mbps to 12 mbps. this is acceptable for most applications and certaily better than a dead spot.
