    Good value if you have used earlier version of Paint Shop Pro

    I have used Paint Shop Pro for many years, but with the coming of Windows 10, my older version no longer ran on my main computer. So I wanted to upgrade my version but without paying a yearly licence. Buying the 2018 version has worked fine so far, and, best of all, I get to use the knowledge I acquired from using the earlier version. That's why I said it was not easy to use. It takes awhile to learn how to use it, and, of course, as with everything, the "upgrades" have just added complexity which does not make things easier.

    Corel should put out the product and leave it alone.

    I've used JASC products for many years with satisfaction. Then they were bought by Corel. At first, Paint Shop Pro and three or four versions to follow were productive and fairly easy to use. Then PSP X2 came out. Worked OK for awhile then, Corel started doing auto upgrades. X2 spiraled down the toilet and even a complete removal and reinstall did not help. Looked at newer versions and decided that PSP 2018 was the most unaffected by Corel's "improvement" meddlings (upgrades). Now, it has started to randomly "freeze". ???? There is no way I can repeat the lockup, because the next time it happens with some other action. I've tried both 32bit and 64bit versions. Oh, almost forgot...it has erased/deleted all of my tubes, frames, brushes, and textures that I have collected over the ...

    The download version is exactly the same as the box. 15 minutes saves you $50,00 If you download, make sure you sign up for the free trial first before inserting your license code. Corel will send you twice weekly tutorial lessons that are way beyond valuable.

    Reasonably priced with no annual subscription!

    The greatest thing about this software is it's NOT A SUBSCRIPTION based fee like some other software we know, even though it does much of what the other software does. This makes it extremely convenient to upgrade when the time comes. A real value in my opinion.
