    This was great. I was so happy to find a Thermaphore with the original control. The seller answered my questions promptly. The heating pad arrived on time, packed very carefully. It looked just like the photo. I plugged it in & it works. It cost about 50% less than the manufacturer's sale price. My parents had theirs for 30 yrs & it still works!     Powerbolt 2

    I just replaced a Truebolt that junked out on me after a couple years. The quality of the Kwikset seems nice. It takes a little longer to engage and disengage, but that might be one of the differences that will keep it from breaking down too quickly. I think one of the downfalls of the Truebolt was the manual disengage when locking the door from the inside. The Kwikset does make a loud pop at the end of travel, which is a little concerning, but I think that's probably part of the design to disengage the gears. Other than that, I prefer the full number pad, but this is a good design.

    Works as it should

    Had one of those for 7 years , and now plastic gears just got used up , new one intoled pretty easy . one thing is to make sure that preset code 1234 is deleltied .

    Good with some hiccups

    It's pretty easy to install and user manual was straightforward and to the point, only downside was that even though the instructions state you just need a screwdriver, I'd recommend a power drill. Both of my larger screws broke when hand drilling the screws into the wood.

    Key/keyless lock

    Keyless lock something that I didn't need but now that I have it I don't know how I got along without it, quality is excellent inside and out, I was lucky to get it at discount but even at full retail it's worth the price, great product.
