    Good movie

Good movie, but as usual once you read the book the movie does not cut it. Every movie I ever saw of Frankenstein never told the real story. It is not about a monster.

  • IF KENNETH BRANAGH IS IN IT, IT WILL BE GREAT!

This is the closest version of the Frankenstein story on film to date. It is VERY emotionally fraught, and sometimes hard to watch, with the violence and nudity. But it is a very beautifully- filmed and edited movie. The scenery, actors., musical score.. all are superb. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves powerful performances of a classic.

  • The true Frankenstein story?

I enjoyed the movie when I first viewed it on the TV so ordered the DVD so I could enjoy it again. It is quite different from those with Boris Karloff, so I'm assuming this movie is more like the book.

  • Sorrows Sum

Positively the BEST rendition of FRANKENSTEIN I have ever seen! It is mesmerizing, captivating, and horrifying. You can’t take your eyes off of it. A tender tale of sadness and treachery. A timeless treasure.
