A good but slightly ineffectual man tries to off himself after an error that really wasn't his fault. In Christmas Carol fashion, his crusty-but-lovable guardian angel shows up to give him a tour of the world without his presence, and it isn't a pretty place.     Great Classic Christmas movie

    Every year it seems like its getting harder to find the Christmas classics I and my family watched when I was a kid. This is building my Christmas movie collection and the bonus is this came in B&W and colorized. DVD's are in excellent shape and arrived fairly quickly. Great Movie with an excellent moral message hidden within.

    I've seen both versions before on DVD. The black & white original is excellent, and a family tradition. But was captivated by how well it was colorized yoo. Very natural, and gives fans of the movie Perhaps a little more perspective on the time frame the film is depicting. Upscales well on my player/tv too. Best it's ever looked. I don't plan on buying this film in 4k,as I dont believe they can eek out anything further than what's presented in Bluray.
