      great SRAM quality and price

      I realized while fixing my kids bike what a great value 7 speed is and how easy it is to work on and tune-up. The whole 8-9-10-11 speed stuff has just gotten to the point of ridiculous for normal recreational cycling. Thankfully you can get 7 speed for next to nothing now

      Simple, INEXPENSIVE, basic, just what that old project needs to get rolling again!

      If you've got an older bike to refurbish, you can't go wrong with this. The price is unbeatable, it's plenty substantial for anything you'd use a 7-speed cassette for, and over the years certain "improvements" like drilling holes in the teeth to save weight have filtered down even to a cassette of this lower wrung of performance. You're not getting an ultra light riveted carrier or titanium larger cassette rings, but you shouldn't be shopping this level of part to build a full race steed. Just put it on, pedal, and enjoy a sunny Sunday!

      7 speeds, just right

      so the cog numbers say it all: 12,14,16,18,21,26,32 . Close for the first 4 gears, a little more from 18 to 21, 2 nice "grannies" at the end. Could a 7 speed cassette be any better ? I try to stay in the 26 for as long as I can on steep hills- I always know I have the 32 just in case. Beautiful chrome finish ...

      direct replacement for my sram cassette

      My old cassette was chain jumping in two of the middle gears, This cassette was a direct replacement on my Diamond Back Response XE with Sram components. It was easy to install with the correct tool and works great. I noticed quieter, smoother shifting which I didn't expect.
