    I was a stranded Hi-8 format dad

    I had about 40 hours of early family videos that hadn't been played in over 20 years. This deck arrived in excellent condition, looked like new. The deck performed flawlessly. All the controls worked, the s-video output shone and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the pictures and audio looked. I've since digitized these tapes and will edit them onto DVD. signed Thankful Dad

    Bringing the Past Alive

    Just what was advertised, and what I expected. Plugged it in and it worked. Now I can live my retirement dream of watching old video tapes from 30 years ago. For every 10 hours of tape, there's about 10 seconds of interesting stuff. But I had to check so I could throw the tapes away in good conscious. And my Sony EV-C100 Hi8 Video Player is making that possible!
