  • buy the classic 4 hole turret press

this is o.k but your better off buying a lee classic 4 hole turret press . I have both the classic much better more heavy duty , necessary to for full size case sizing large rifle brass. not much more money if you shop deals buy the press by itself . some lee stuff the best bang for buck some just junk. lee case conditioning , case gauge, press, bench autoprime, dies, hardware like spare turrets great bang for buck very good quality . lee powder measures are innacurate toys buy a rcbs chargemaster, 1500 lee 4die sets the best ,you can reload slowly and be innacurate , slow and frustrated or spend the money on the best powder measure and scale, save money on a good press, dies put in the work on case sizing and length, cleaning and priming most accurate powder charge ,crimp and be micrometer accurate ,pretty fast , safe and very satisfied. to do it right you end up buying all the better extras from lee the stuff in the value kit is the cheapest will need upgrades.

  • She's a keeper!

Owned the previous model of turret press. This 4 hole press is superior in build. Smoother functioning, robust design. Only one complaint and it might just be me. Access to hand place projectiles is ergonomically tight. It may be my old age creeping up. Did not have this issue with the older press. Body placement and handle operation seems to be a sight issue as well. Just can't seem to get comfy. All in all I wouldn't kick this beauty out of bed. She's a keeper and I'll adapt!

  • Another winner for Lee Precision

Lee quality and a great price. This 4 hole turret press is a great addition to any reloader's bench, and allows for efficient loading. The included dies were a benefit as well, especially since they included the crimping die. It was easy to set up and put in operation, and the included powder thrower is really accurate once you get it dialed in.

  • lee loader

I didn't get into reloading because many said buying a Dillon was the only way to go and that midline Dillon press was around $750 so I said heck no. Many of those same people said a Lee was like fix or repair daily. After talking to some other people I decided to go with the Lee at $145 delivered. I for the most part like this kit except the Lee scales suck IMO as they are to time consuming compared to an electric digital scale. Also it is best to buy the riser for the powder loader because without it the loader hits the dies when attaching it. I am new at this so I removed the indexing rod and use the press as a single stage indexing by hand. It is nice having the turret head because you can install all the needed dies instead of having to keep changing out the dies for each procedure. I wish I hadn't listened to the nay sayers about Lee presses and had gotten this kit a long time ago.

  • Lee value turret

Easy to use, just read instructions with it and the die set. Great for new reloaders. I can safely do 100 an hour without rushing. Pick up a safety prime($25) and powder riser ($10). It will make life alot easier.

  • You CAN'T go wrong with this as your first, or an addition to your reloading bench!!! Awesone value for what your getting

Great value for the money. Not a cheep made product, but intended for rugged use. Have hand loaded for almost 50 years, and this is my first, but not my last, Lee product. Look forward to leaving this to my son and grandson for their use for many years to come!!

  • Great Reloading Press

The Lee Turret press is a good press to start out with or if you are wanting to add another press to your system. The Lee value Turret press is made more sturdy that I thought it would be even though it is cast aluminum. So I can only expect the deluxe turret press to be like a tank.

  • Lee Deluxe turret press

More suitable for handgun loading but if you remove the auto index rod you can load rifle rounds as well. I prefer this for rifle rounds anyway as I reload in "batches", i.e. de-cap all, collet press all, etc. Still need to set up auto disk powder loader so looking forward to that. Remember to purchase set of dies if you don't have as kit doesn't come with any.

  • Great progressive press for the money.

Press works great, simple to use and not near as complicated as the Lee 1000 and other progressives. Kit has all you need to start reloading except dies. Best if used with Lee 4 die set with powder pass through expander die and crimp die. Have ordered a second press.

  • Great starter kit

Great starter kit. But you will be buying upgrades very fast. Not to say it isn't worth tge money, its like buying a new car and then wanting to add aftermarket parts to it before you get it home.
