Slight glitch with mine, others may vary.
I would need to check yet, the last episode from one disc is repeated in the first episode of the next disc, the only difference is the titles. After I finish watching the complete first season, I will report any other, if any issues. Everything else is fabulous with great audio and video. I am tempted to purchase the full 20 years but, I can't justify the cost of $800.00 or more. Best of the original TV westerns
As children we were allowed to stay up and watch this program weekly. It contained good moral values, respect for authority and law. Matt Dylan was firm and righteous for his responsibilities as a lawman. Back in those days use of GUNS were a necessary restraint in society. Now we have our more modern police force. "Gunsmoke" was a great show that depicted how law and order were needed back then, and even still today . Childhood Memories Come Alive!
I was young about 9 when television started to broadcast. It wasn't "cop" shows then, it was westerns! I remember laying on the living room floor with my friends on saturday night tio watch "Gunsmoke." It still is a great show. With little "effects," it seems tame compared to the CGI of today's films.
