    Good product

    Overall a great FORD CERTIFIED PART. However you will need to remove a hose fitting from your old intake crossover and install it on the new intake crossover. Additionally, one thread insert would not line up exactly with the throttle cable rear bracket fastener. I tried different fastening combinations to no avail. Not sure if it’s a factory defect or not. My old intake thread inserts lined up perfectly with the bolts and bracket holes. Aside from that everything turned out well. My 2003 5.4 triton runs well again. Do not buy the Dorman brand. Buy a Ford certified part.

    worst engineering I've ever seen

    It was not the exact replacement part, the center compartment, was wide open and full of insulation, a wide open invite for a mouse hotel, I had to surround it with wire mesh to make it mouse proof.

    Item as described!

    Perfect fit for my 2000 Ford F-150 5.4 l 2v v8. Just like the original intake that came off the truck and it’s stamped Ford on it just like the picture showed. My truck runs better than it did before and fixed the cracked water jacket leak all in one. Definitely recommend this intake over all the horror stories I’ve herd about the dorman brand. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for this intake. I promise you won’t regret it!

    It's the real deal

    Oem at it's best. Even better ...the plastic seems heavier . Solid going in and everything went right on . You'll need a new set of gasket and the set I bought was an exact match (wow , two for two) and all the fasteners you removed. Spent majority of time on the tear down and cleaning ... it was a real delight to install - 6 hours. three two hour session with plenty of breaks and a batt charger repair ( 110 degree by 11 am , worked 6:30 - 8:30 ) and it used a selection of sockets , omg , a 7 mm , 8 mm and 10mm was somewhere yould never expect .     Buy OEM Manifold It's worth it

    It's worth the money to buy OEM parts. I tried an after market part first and it was a waste of time and money and my truck just didn't run right. Seemed to lack original power. I installed this using Fel Pro gaskets and my Truck runs like new again. I can't say enough good about it.
