    Historical and archeological look at Jesus and his legacy.

    Exactly what I was looking for to help prepare for an upcoming trip to the Holy Land. As a non-believer, I didn't want my study material to preach to me. Having said that, there's much in this book for everyone interested in Jesus, and for all levels of faith. This is a typical, first rate National Geographic product with excellent maps and outstanding photography. The life and legacy of Jesus are examined by comparing scripture to eye-witness accounts to archeological and historical evidence. This is a factual, fair look at the life of Christ, while no attempt is made to prove or disprove his divinity. Highly recommended. I hope that the rest of my research material is as educational and interesting as this book has been.
