  • The book that started a lifetime of pulp collecting

This is a fantastic book that introduced me to the pulps. Its absolutely packed with color and black & white illustrations from American science fiction pulp magazines from the 1920s-1940s, and the author's enthusiastic commentary about the fiction, the magazines, and he artists. This book ignited a interest in pulp SF in me at a young age (11 years old) that has lingered to this day.
