  • Controversial?

Controversial in 1964 and maybe it still is. Another good example of how the real Americans were mistreated and are still being mistreated. While I didn't have anything to do with the treatment of the Indians, I can certainly emphasize with with their plight both in history and still today. This album is just another reminder of how people are treated when they are "conquered" by.the unfeeling and greedy.

  • Johnny Cash at his best.

Been a Johnny Cash fan since the mid '50's. Somehow i missed this. Also highly reccomend "A Heartbeat and a Guitar Johnny Cash and the Making of Bitter Tears" by Antonino D'Ambrosio . It is a whole different look at a recording star who stood up for what he believed in. May he rest in peace.....
