    Cheapest 8 port SATA MOBO for LGA 1155

    Inexpensive 8 port SATA (9 port if you count the external eSata port) MOBO for LGA 1155 at the time of this review. Great motherboard, but be careful with overclocking in this board. There is this option on BIOS that you must leave on that restore your bios to default settings if it fails! Leave that option on... It's called Intel something, forgot, but it's already ticked, so don't untick it. Careful handling the PCIE slot cap, it breaks easily especially with big boy cards like the GTX 970 G1.

    Why Intel WHY

    Great product. But once again to the befuddlement of all, Intel has chosen to remove on-board DV & DVI ports? Can not in good conscience recommend a motherboard that skimps on features. Why Intel. WHY? One or two additional on-board Video ports would make this board the ultimate buy.

    MOTHERBOARD BECOMES A LEMON

    FIRST THE BOARD WAS USED BUT ALMOST NEW CONDITION. HOWEVER THE MERCHANT HAD FAILED TO MENTION THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE BOARDS 3.0 USB PORTS. NOT AN DRIVER ISSUE . IT WAS SIMPLY A PORT ISSUE. SO I WAS USING 2.0. THE BOARD EVENTUAL STARTED TO FAIL. AFTER 5 MONTHS OF USE ISSUES BEGAN HAVING MULTIPLE HANGS OR BLUE DEATH SCREEN. i TOOK THE PC APART, PUT IT ALL BACK CLEANED. I EVEN INSTALLED A NEW HARD DRIVE & HEAT SINK. AFTER EVERYTHING WAS INSTALLED WITH A CLEAN OS... FEW DAYS LATER SYSTEM FAILS. INSTALLED NEW MOTHERBOARD MADE BY ASUS.... MY PC RUNS SMOOTH WITH OUT AN ISSUE. ITS BEEN A FEW YEARS NOW AND MY SYSTEM STILL RUNS GREAT. ASK MORE QUESTION TO THE SELLER.
