    Well thought out product!

    This product is well made and seems to be pretty rugged. It was designed with a specific goal in mind, to keep your expensive Laserlyte TLB-1 Training Target from inadvertently toppling over when standing up on it's narrow base. It does exactly that and is cheap insurance. This stand evidently is made for the newer TLB-1s, those that are about 1-3/8" thick. Be aware that the older TLB-1 units (like mine is) are about 2-1/8" thick, and that this stand will not work for those thicker Training Targets. I cut my stand in half sideways and mounted the front and rear halves on a wooden board so that it held my thicker TLB-1, and it works great. I like it!

    An overpriced toy

    I originally purchased this product to maintain skill and address the issue of not being able to attend the range as frequently as I used to, due to increased price and scarcity of factory ammunition. However it turned out to be nothing but an exercise in frustration. The main problems with the target are. 1 The display, reset and main target area do not reliably detect hits. I tried in a room during daylight with the curtains drawn & open, at night under in a room lit by non fluorescent tubes & with the target placed in an unlit room and could never get reliable hit detection the target would work fine in one condition only to fail when attempted again in the same conditions. 2 The target after being turned on needs to be activated by hitting the reset circle twice before you it ...

    The greatest casual training tool out there.

    For the everyday shooter, who does want to improve his range behavior, this is the perfect tool. While it is mainly a "BoreSight" system, which means that actual Point of impact may be different, but you can get consistancy in trigger control, aim, grip and all of the other fundamentals, and see where you are doing well and not without spending a Mint on ammunition. for the cost of 10 boxes of range ammo, you can have 6000 shots.

    Lserlyte target system

    Arrived quickly. Works as advertised. Won't replace the range, but it's great to be able to practice whenever I have time without the need to pack every thing up for the trip to the range-I get in can get an hour of practice a day and still get all of my work done. The instant feedback lets you easily see when you improve. Plan to get some of the other LaserLyte systems.
