Ontario: Fixed Blade Knife. 10.13" (25.73cm) overall. 5" (12.7cm) black powder coated clip point blade. Black textured rubber handle. Full tang. Lanyard hole. Black nylon belt sheath.Specifications.
Not bad, but would spend a bit more and buy a better knife.
Overall not bad for the price. But I wouldn't recommend it, I would pay a bit more and get a better knife. Mine also arrived with a damaged / bent tip, and they missed the coating on some parts of the steel. Poor quality control.
Pros:
Heavy duty
1075 carbon steel
Coating on steel should prevent some corrosion.
Decent value for money.
Cons:
Poor quality control.
Knife comes quite blunt.
Sheath is of very poor quality. Every aspect of it is poor, doesn't even go in smooth as it gets caught on something inside.
Not a full tang, does not reach or go around the lanyard hole, so I wouldn't put too much stress on the lanyard cable.
Quite uncomfortable and un-ergonomic handle.
With a better sheath and some sharpening, this would be a great outdoor knife.
Put the knife in the sheath pulled it out to see tension on it .no guard on the knife .the back end stabbed me in finger.sheath horrible.no guard on the knife. The Ontario sp2 is way better great guard sheath so so .if the Alfa had a guard it would be an excellent knife..razor sharp my finger knows it..i sold it not for me sorry.
Best fixed blade for the money. Survival, hunting, fishing, skinnier, bush craft.
This is a do all knife. The value is assume. I would gladly pay more for this knife. Only downside is he sheath.
