If you use one phone you can probably use another.
(1) It would be better it caller ID was illuminated/lighted. (2) Disappointed that the ringer volume does no allow one to shut the ringer off. It only has has lo/med/hi but no off. The lo is not that low at all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works fine but just few choices.
Phone works as predicted, but there are very few choices for a "landline" wall phone. I replaced the exact type of phone with this purchase. Be watchful of the batteries it requires and check them often. If the batteries leak, then your phone is no good, that's what happened to mine. Not completely what I wanted
We wanted corded phones that would have a caller ID so we do not have to answer the phone when we do not know who is calling. These phones do that but the display on the handset does not light up making it incredibly difficult to see the number that is calling. You almost have to tip it to the light to see the display even when set for the most contrast. For the one we have on the wall in not well lit location we cannot see it so it is useless. It's a good product
I like the phone, it fits well on my desk and I can control the ringer (turn it off). On the hand held part (the receiver) there is a little window that had texting.
