Costly but a solid piece of gear.
Okay, I still think that Canon L glass is over priced in general and it is no exception with this 35mm 1.4 ii (even used). Having said this, I very much enjoy this lens. It is very well made with great picture quality, contrast and sharpness. It is also REALLY quiet, more than I anticipated, which is awesome for video. I went with Canon (and not the superb & newly released Tamron 35mm SP 1.4) because I needed weather proofing and wanted avoid compatibility issues with my gimbal (which I've encountered with 3th party lenses).
