    It didn't work for me.....

    I plugged it into my Macbook Pro and the 2 monitors. The laptop recognized the device. The desktop space on my laptop showed that it was set up to span multiple monitors. Unfortunately, my screens were blank but confirming the DVI feed. I will be trying a different laptop and a desktop to isolate and confirm whether it or not it is the device that is the problem.

    firmware upgrade

    Setup did not go smoothly with many reboots. Discovered both a firmware and software upgrade on the Matrox website and after downloading the device works well.
