    Very pleased!

    I decided to purchase two of these based on reviews from others. I'm a traveling salesperson and my laptop is my life. I need to have a quality charger and a backup just in case one burns out. This is JUST like the OEM one that comes with it, complete with the USB port built into the charger. If you're looking for a replacement or an extra identical to the one that came with your Surface Pro, this is it.

    Didn't work for me

    Shorted out 3 minutes into first use. This is the wrong plug for this item. See other offers with the more triangular plug. That's the one that comes with the Surface Pro 2.

    a good replacement -- with a bonus

    This cord works just like the original, but with a longer wall-side cord than originally came from MS. This, to my mind, is a bonus as the original was a bit on the short side.
