Easy to install, directions are very easy to follow and cover most installations. Phone help available for those really unusual installs. Large display, touch panel for programming. Easy to read, easy to program. Does a great job. Being able to program each day separately really makes it easy to adjust your heating/cooling system to fit your lifestyle. great name brand thermostat but???
Honeywell sells great products and this is definitely one of them and works professionally as intended. the big issue is the span can not be set! it does hold to 1 degree for sure but the electricity to do so will sky-rocket. this thermostat added 50 dollars to my bill. this thermostat will cycle the unit too much which is not good. after a month plus, I removed it for one that you can set span and electric bill dropped. programming it is not an issue, better than the one I bought to replace it. if you do not care about the money thing, buy it, if you do research some more!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Exactly what I needed for my replacement

Great Thermostat for Older Systems
This thermostat requires two AA batteries but is a lifesaver for older systems without the Common wire from the furnace. The display is dated but the unit functions great. For setup/programming remove the thermostat from the wall mount and do this in your easy chair with good lighting. It says "Easy To Program" - Don't believe it!
I ordered 2 of these. They work when programmed correctly, but programming them is a real time-consuming challenge. Not an easy task. I had to end up calling Honeywell Customer Support, an they walked me through it, but when the time comes to reprogram them again when the seasons change, I'll probably need to talk to Customer Support again!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
