Unfortunately I had purchased other 6" units from a different supplier, but discovered they were not independently tested and certified. So be careful when picking what units you're considering for purchase, make sure to ask if they're UL or ETL certified. This is the 4th order I've placed with this supplier and would recommend to a friend.

The listing did not indicate if this remote came with a receiver or if it would work with AC ceiling fans. I asked these questions directly of the seller. The confirmed it came with the receiver and that it would work with AC fans. Upon arrival, the receiver has printed on it in big, bold print "For DC fans only." Very annoyed by this. Seller did give a refund, so my issue was resolved.
