The one glitch turned out to be a loose speaker wire (at the speaker). Apple TV box complained about my old HDMI cables. New 8K certified cables handled that.     Bought this to replace my TX-NR686 thats HDMI board died (or so I thought). Ended up being a buggy firmware update on the TV affecting EARC that I discovered when the new receiver wouldn’t display either. Factory reset on the TV got it working. Oh well, good excuse to upgrade since I already have the new one hooked up! Arrived quickly. Receiver looked new, even had the film inside the flip down door on the front! Love the 3 Zones and Dirac!

    Best 11.2 receiver out there hands down

    Receivers have become way expensive, but I feel Onkyo tries to keep premium sound affordable. The lower tiered models offer near the same options but I was looking for audio outputs to be able to use pro amps for amplification. Plus with decoding for 11 channels the RZ50 actually is in a class above most others. I feel this model is the best receiver in the 11.2 category without having to dish out 1000's of dollars. Now I did get this one refurbished so I was able to get it for about half the cost. Believe me, Onkyo makes the best audio receivers around for the price. I came from one that is still kicking strong and over 20yrs old. Yeah, will last another 20. Sound is amazing, functions and bells and whistles are all there. Get this one! Its the best decision I made for upgrading my home ...

    Came in original boxing with all original accessories, looked brand new. Came in 2 boxes + packing peanuts. Only issue I get is the receiver sometimes

Only issue I get is the receiver sometimes won’t show the menu and just shows a blue “please wait” menu. Happens a lot and it seems like it may be a board issue. I may have to return this or just start using a smart switch to do a hard reset.

    Amazing A/V receiver for the price

    Receiver has so many options for setup. Atmos, THX, music only. The list goes on and on. Still learning about all the setup features. Haven't bought a new A/V receiver in 20 years so it's quite a relearning experience
