I initially installed it on a stock air cleaner as intended and found that on this bike it protruded too far out making the bike less comfortable as it would rub against my leg. Where your foot controls are located will be a factor whether an item like this is practical with a stock air cleaner cover. it is plastic but appears to be good quality. Great place to buy from.
