If these were my first DJI goggles, I'd probably say they were great.
However, having owned the original white clunky goggles which were brighter and more "full screen" that made it more immersive. Granted oled has advantages and disadvantages but the continuous 1080p (the old ones dropped back to 720p at distance) is a real plus. The disadvantage is that oled's fade from their original factory brightness, at least in theory.
We'll see
The connections and "binding" are somewhat strange, but they seemed to connect, each time with no problem.
The G3's are much lighter and all the PID and Diopter adjustments are great and the weight and fit is much better. They do seem more fragile and the rubber type blackout blinders are light and thin. I'd question the survivability with all the action and normal usage. We'll see.
OK, they are REALLY good though, not great.
