    All Hail the King of the Blues!!!

    I just love multi-disc boxed sets! They're a great way to delve deeper into an artist's work than a simple greatest hits album and B.B. King: King of the Blues is no exception. Covering slightly more than four decades of the legendary bluesman's career, this four-disc set provides a lovely overview of his work from 1949-1991. Some of the earliest recordings are, shall we say, archival quality, but they nonetheless provide an important document of his work. Whether you're a hard-core fan or a casual listener, this is a collection not to be missed.
