A large, heavy-duty design is what you get with the SpeakerCraft MZC-66. It is a 12-channel power amplifier for your home theater system that boosts AV signals for true aural clarity. With up to 12 30-watt channel digital audio power amplifiers, you get sound amplification that befits the size of this component. This SpeakerCraft MZC-66 audio management system allows you to turn sound on to one or more of your zone areas. Turn all of the zones on simultaneously with the system controller button on the front.Capable of powering up to six discrete zones, you have a choice of six listening and visual source inputs. They connect to any type of speakers. To connect the MZC66 to your speaker, you only need speaker wire and wire strippers. It packs several convenient features like a doorbell or phone trigger. When activated, the feature mutes the current track to alert you. The track resumes after a period of time that you set. This makes it viable to have a listening session even when you are anticipating visitors or an important phone call.The doorbell status makes use of two 3.5 mini jack trigger inputs, and they work in conjunction with the phone and video page input. When this input is triggered, a selected audio zone is turned off. Input voltage of 3 to 30 AC or DC volts and a positive voltage polarity tip triggers the on condition. The voltage must be below 1 volt for this trigger to turn off the zone. The phone and video page options work in the same manner. Program these SpeakerCraft MZC-66 to function identically or separately, as they are able to accommodate an RG6 coax at a length of up to 500 feet. The amp uses traditional RCA connections for your listening accessories, including your MP3 media player.This SpeakerCraft MZC-66 also features the ability to upgrade its firmware. The MZC 66 also serves as a bi-directional RS-232 serial interface, allowing you to connect the multi-zone power amp to the external devices that controls it. This a/v product connects to your Blu-ray player, stereo, and most brands of DVD players, and it also works with digital gaming systems. This product allows you to go high with +12 V of DC power when any area is turned on. Its maximum output is 100 mA at 9.5 V of DC, and the visual outputs have a 75 ohm resistance.To easily perform the installation of this product, use its keypad free mode. This allows you to set it up with its remote control or the Wi-Fi enabled smart device of your choice, including your synced smartphone.
