Works well and easier to keep clean
So far this frame seems to work very well. My old frame had a bar across the front, under the seat, that not only got dirty but eventually rusted. This is a great improvement. It seems to be well made and it certainly is easy to use. I do wonder about cleaning the handles, however, which are padded with foam. Toilet Safety Frame
This product is very well made, but was not practicle for my use. I like the idea of not having legs sitting on my floor which gets in the way of my rugs. The arm rests sits too close to the toilet seat and restricts your movement to do your business. The plate that holds the bar is what broke on my old unit, so I am only using the plate from this new unit. The holes in the new plate had to be drilled out to accommodate the pins from my old unit. It has very solid construction. I think it is tubular steel. It was easy to assemble. The assembly instructions are pictures, but they illustrate the assembly very well. The parts fit together very well. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble. Good Value, Good Support and No Front Bar Cleaning
Easy to install and appears to be as stable as the previous rail with the bar across the front. The best thing is it takes care of the front bar cleaning problem. The padded arm rest is nice, but may present a cleaning problem if it is used by small kids and older people with dementia.
