    It works well

    I used this to play and transfer my old mini dev tapes to my Mac mini and it works great. It has everything I need except for the IE dv cable and the FireWire adapter I bought on amazon. Very nice little unit.

    Dissatisfied

    I owned this exact model camera before, and needed to transfer my memories from my mini cassettes. That was the purpose for ordering this camera. There was no battery included, but that's ok, because that was disclosed. Im expecting all attachments that comes with it new to be included. There was a powercord by no audio/visual cord. The camera arrived with a rattling noise that sounded like something was loose on the inside, and there was, one of the spools that turn the cassette was unattached the white one in the photo, I was able to get reattached in place.when i played the cassette it played but video was jumpy, I stopped play and removed cassette, and it was unwound and damaged. The memory card functioned properly. Products that are defective should not be sold without disclosing ...

    For what was needed this unit did the job. However, the battery is no good and was missing the cord that hooks the camera into VCR. Considering the over all age of the unit I still feel like I got a good deal.

    Worth the price

    Good for the price. Just needed it to transfer some old tapes to MP4 files in order to save. Would have been great if it came with the power cord and charger..... still a good buy.
