    ASUS E Green DVD Burner

    The main reason I purchased this drive was to put an ASUS Logo on the front of the mircro ATX tower I had bought to rehouse the motherboard and processor of an ASUS Esentio full sized tower into the smaller housing. It all fit very well,l so I wanted the Logo to show it was an ASUS tower. As a plus, it worked as it was supposed to and also has the power saving feature. I actually bought two and was able to get a better price and shipping charge. I was very satisfied with the drive and the looks of the small tower which had the ASUS name displayed and the discount because of purchasing two drives.

    Great Burner for Dual/Double-Layer DVD±Rs!

    I was looking for a solid and reliable Dual/Double-Layer DVD±R burner because the one I had was costing me a fortune in misburns. You see, as blank media is concerned, DVD±R DLs are fairly pricey - and you don't want to waste them! I did some research, and found that this drive came pretty highly-rated insofar as DL handling is concerned. The price was only around $20, so I figured I'd give it a try. So far, I've burned about a dozen or so DLs with it. It's very quiet, and fast enough (ad DL burners go). Recommended.

    A bargain!

    Optical drives are becoming a thing of the past, but when you need one, you need one that works well. I replaced a drive that came with my computer years ago. I accidently jammed two disks in at once, totally my fault, and that broke the old drive. This one was easy to install, seems faster than my old one (perception maybe), and is a stellar bargain at the price I paid! I'm not afraid to recommend this drive!

    Well worth the money

    I read the reviews before I bought it used. Received it promptly and installed into a six-year old Dell Desktop. Drivers loaded automatically. This Asus DVD writer is quiet and fast. Burning DVDs at a record pace. Lowest failure burn rate I've had with any DVD writer. I'm very happy and would recommend.
