    Avh 240ex

    Pretty basic. Quick to boot up. Sound quality is ok. Dvd plays clearly. The back of the unit is kinda wierd they could have made the design a whole lot better. Like the avh 210ex. The output labled subwoofer doesnt control my amp but the rear output does. But that could be for a different type of setup. I wish there were more options as far as screen background goes but it is what it is. I find that i have to push a bit hard on the screen to make a selection. Also the instructions are not very clear at all. Instead of a wiring diagram , which pioneer used to provide they just say that red is 12v, black is chassis ground etc. Over all its ok.

    Great Sound...Great Fit

    Reasonably priced replacement receiver that fit perfectly in my Nissan Frontier dash The sound is magnificent. Its rich with features to personalize the sound and the view from my back-up camera is crisp and clear. I would recommend this wholeheartedly!

    Pick a different pioneer

    This CD player is not good for you if you plan On using subwoofers it doesn’t have a on and off switch for subs and will force you to use low pass filter to turn your subs on I wish I knew before I bought it because you never wanna use low pass filter on head unit for subs that’s what the amp is for so it’s forcing you to low pass a signal that’s already low pass and if you turn low pass off on your amp it’s still not gone sound right you will have phase issues or you will have to turn your amp up more than you should
