    Good WKE, poor instructions

    Works well, after I figured out how to configure it. I didn't have any trouble raising or lowering the cover and hopefully that will continue after it sits outside in the PNW rain for a few seasons. I think it is good that it has a sliding cover because it seems more likely to slow the aging of the buttons, which is why I had to replace my previous entry system. Thanks to the previous reviewers who provided details on how to configure the unit. Yes, the instructions are poor. What I had to figure out is that after entering the code you must proceed with setting the opener type BEFORE the lights go out. Later in the instructions you are told to wait for the lights to STOP flashing before proceeding to the next step but that causes this step to fail for me. It may also be helpful to know ...

    Good Value

    This keypad come with a preinstalled 9v battery. Installation requires just two screws, included, and took minutes. Programming was very easy and also took just a few minutes. NOTE: The instructions show you a list of brands and year that your opener will be categorized under. The list uses 1 digit numbers, but below that it says to write down your 2 digit code. I simply put a zero in front of my number and it worked like a charm. Item appears to be substantial quality and the backlit keys are a nice feature too.

    Good Product - Programming Instructions Suck!

    I recently bought a house the has 2 Lift-Master ATS211R openers, one of which has a KLICK2U-P2 keypad installed. I wanted the same convenience for the other door which is where my lawn equipment is, so I bought a second unit. This is where the NIGHTMARE begins! I followed Chamberlain's instructions to program the keypad and used code 2 as per instructions. My unit has the Red/Orange button and code 2 is what is SUPPOSED to be the correct one. Wrong! After numerous attempts (without success) I tried 02, again no luck... I then figured I would start from scratch by erasing all codes (hold the smart button for 6 seconds), I was now able to program the keypad but now the car unit wouldn't program! OK, so I know they both work individually but why can't I program multiple units? I called ...

    One hitch in the instructions, great product & value

    New product in original box. Instruction could have been more complete from the manufacturer. Followed them to the letter of the law, and could not get it to work?? U-tubed Chamberlain openers and found we had to have the garage door closed to get it to sync the opener to the wall remote This would have saved time. Overall, a great value.
