    Cuts well, doesn't take up a lot of room and isn't cumbersome. Comes with 2 mats, a blade, a pen... most of what you need to get started with Cricut.

    I honestly can't give it a 5-star rating... not because it doesn't deserve it, but because I am new to the Cricut world and don't know enough about it, so I don't feel I can give a 5-star until I am more familiar with the products. However, so far my new Cricut Maker seems to be a very good product, though I'm having just a little bit of trouble with calibration (again, possibly because of my limited knowledge). But it seems to cut well and do the job it's supposed to do. It has several nice features. I like the nice hydraulic smoothness when it opens, and the bottom opens automatically when you open the top cover. It has some nice storage room for your tools, too. It doesn't take up too much space and is lightweight enough to move around quite easily. I am enjoying learning how to use it. ...

    New Open Box Should Read "Scratch & Dent"

    Way more wear & tear than typical for a new open-box display unit in my experience. I would have assumed a display model was not "used" but this machine appears to have been used quite a bit. Surfaced scratched and scraped on front and back exterior. Making aweful noise on startup and full of lint and wear on the inside...even more than my well used Cricut Explorer.

    Awesome cutting machine

    The cricut is an awesome cutting machine. Its easy to learn and has all the software available to download that is needed to get started. Its basically "plug and play". There are lots of projects available free through Cricut or at a reasonable cost or you can make your own.There are many other sites where projects are available, some at a nominal fee and others free. If you like to do crafting this is the machine you need.

    AwesomeSAUCE: Have you everrrrrrrrrrrrr thought of something "Arts/Craftsy" you wanted to make but thought oooh bummers nah I'm good because of the amount of effort of finding all the right tools (Paper/Vinyl/Plastic, Glue, Yarn, Threat....etc). Yeah, that was me I waited planned for 3 years because added to that list is TIME. You can't rush your inner creative thinking or it will be a HOT MESS. Well, now I have mine and with the new Cricut Maker version (God is so Good) be patient and you will receive. I have a whole earring collection now with my Cricut. My goal was to wear a different pair every day. The holidays are now upon us, Halloween was so much fun with vinyl porch cut outs of crazy led lit pumpkin faces, giant black spiders made of felt and foam balls with pipe cleaner creepy ...

    Very Pleased and glad I made this purchase! If everyone's machine is like mine -- don't hesitate to purchase.

    Brand new in the box -- Very pleased! Got it up and working (including getting a special "TP Link" for my desktop becauseit doesn't have Bluetooth -- my laptop does -- gut I prefer my desktop "big girl" computer.) My only complaint about the Cricut itself is that I'm going to have to start printing my own money for all the supplies I want!!! LOL
