    Has been a really reliable starter for over a decade. Replaced it due to age with an identical one, I have a SBC 396 and cranks great. My only complaint is it has a high pitch screech flywheel noise. It s better for me as far as noise than the Powermaster. I just have bad luck pry. The Dynaforce never let me down and was always quiet but was old and Powermaster ultra sounded terrible. Dynaforce was better but after 8 hrs+ messing around and $800+ later I am dealing with the noise

    MSD is the BEST

    Although cheaper starters can be found, quality costs money. This starter easily cranks my 10:1 383 cui motor. I had a cheaper starter motor that was worn-out and replaced it with this MSD starter. Fit well and came with everything necessary to install in 10 minutes.
