Fantastic Frank Sinatra CD
Combining two of Frank Sinatra's best records, Songs for Young Lovers and Swing Easy, this CD is great for all fans of "The Voice" and easy listening music. Of the CDs made from Sinatra's records, this one is near the top of my list, second only to Come Fly With Me. There are plenty of wonderful songs on Songs for Young Lovers/Swing Easy, including "My Funny Valentine," "The Girl Next Door" (I can't decide whether I like Frank's version or Judy Garland's in Meet Me in St. Louis better), "A Foggy Day," the Cole Porter classic, "I Get a Kick Out of You," "They Can't Take That Away From Me," "Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams," "Get Happy," and "All of Me." The first nine ... Combining two of Frank Sinatra's best records, Songs for Young Lovers and Swing Easy, this CD is great for all fans of "The Voice" and easy listening music. Of the CDs made from Sinatra's records, this one is near the top of my list, second only to Come Fly With Me. Frank Sinatra's first two albums on the Capital label are excellent ones that contain songs forever associated with him. Nearly every song is done with vocal and instrumental precision. Great listening pleasure can only ensue. Since both albums are very short in length by today's standards, Capital made the right decision to combine the two onto one disc.
