My Horse & Me: Riding for Gold is a detailed simulation of show horse husbandry and riding. The most crucial aspect in nearly any equestrian activity is the bond of trust between the rider and her horse. The strength of that bond can determine how well the animal performs in all other exploits, including show horse competitions. Players build up that bond in daily care and grooming activities. A virtual veterinarian is on hand as well, so players should also have their horses undergo complete examinations. Players are responsible for cleaning and feeding their animal, as well as training for and performing in the game's three main competitive events: cross country, dressage, and jumping. My Horse & Me: Riding for Gold is licensed by the world-wide <i>Fédération Equestre Internationale</i> (FEI) and features realistic horse sports competitions. Both the horse and rider can be customized from a wide selection of riding equipment, accessories, and outfits.

Major disapointment
I bought this game for my 9 year old daughter who is in love with horse and every thing they stand for. I have never found anything about horse that she didn't like until now. She played it once and has not touched it sense then. She stated that it was very boring and that you could not do hardly any thing on and there was no challenge to it at all! I guess to a child that might be around the age of 4 or 5 it would be a perfect game for someone that is just starting out and doesn't really care as long as they get to play that and it is very easy and there is nothing to do really on the game. I would of gave it to my daughter when she was that age but wish i had not of now. I guess you get what you pay for. i bought her another game about horses called my pony friends2 and she loves it. ... Fun learning game
My four year old daughter is a horse loving girl!!!! She has a horse of her own that she shows and this game added fire to that love. I picked it because of the different events in the game. We found that it is easy to understand, even for a four year old. It taught her about the actual events plus it had fun games that worked her hand eye coordination. She can play it all on her own:)

My daughter (who is 9 years old) loves this game. It has been a fun game for her and she has had it for a month now. Always nice when they don't get board immediately. :)

Game is great my daughter loves it. hasn't played any of her other games since we gave it to her. The game was shipped fast. Works great haven't had any problems.
