A Reunion to Remember
I like all of the Madea series of movies, and with my own family reunion coming up, I had to get a copy. This movie makes me feel like my family isn't the only dysfunctional one around. I liked the movie. I laughed a lot. One thing I wondered though was some of the content taken from other movies/characters on purpose or was it not?- Such as a farting scene with the grandfather. It reminded me of the Nutty Professor.But otherwise, very entertaining and I could relate with some of the characters to some of my own relatives too.It was funny as well as giving a lesson on family values and true love. Also it is true that money does not buy happiness, nor does living your life through other people.I like all of the Madea series of movies, and with my own family reunion coming up, I had to get a copy. Madea's Family Reunion Is Good, but not Tyler's best
I love Tyler Perry's Madea character. Madea is a tough cookie with a heart of gold, who doesn't let anyone take advantage of her. She tells it like it is. All of Perry's movies with Madea have a hard line story (in this case, a double-theme of an abusive man and a mother who has let her daughters be abused to further her own interests), as well as another story of Christian redemption (good, hardworking, Christian, young black man meets a woman with trust issues and wins her over). This is probably the weakest in the series. Diary of a Mad Black Woman is good, and Madea goes to jail is excellent. Still, the Madea story-line was very heart warming in this movie. The judge makes Madea take in a foster child in order to avoid going to jail. In true Madea fashion, she takes the ... I love Tyler Perry's Madea character. THE WAY THE SHOW DONE THESE CARETERS IS TO LET YOU SEE THEM AND YOU CAN SHOW THESE ACTIONS TO YOUR CHILDREN AND WARN THEM ABOUT THESE KIND OF PEAPLE WITHOUT SCARING THE KIDS, THE SHOW ALSO HAS A MOTHER AND HER TWO DAUTHERS THAT HAVE THERE PROBLEMS AND IT IS A GOOD LESSON TO TEACH YOUR KIDS ABOUT, HOW FAVORETISM.IS BAD HOW SHE WAS A BAD MOTHER TO BOTH DAUTHERS AND WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO ,I LIKED THAT THIS WHOLE SHOW TAUGHT YOU A LOT ABOUT HOW LIFE IS WHAT TO WATCH FOR ,THIS MOVIE HAD A LOT OF LIFE LESSONS IN IT, I GOT TO TALK TO MY GRANDDAUTHER ABOUT THESE LESSONS,PLUS GOT TO WATCH A GREAT MOVIE AS WELL!!!
