Great camera......... if you can buy at a discounted price.
I was able to purchase my brand new HDR-CX700VE on Ebay for a greatly discounted price. It was new in a sealed box for $1075. Don't ask me how it sold for such a discount but that price is a fair price for this camcoder in my view. The CX700 is a great camera and I would rate it a 5 star if not for the normal price on it of $1295. That is too much money, so it gets a star subtracted. My camera has worked without a single flaw....except one. I bought two accessory MV100 batteries to give me longer battery usage and the result was the batteries did not work on the camera. Both batteries were genuine Sony Products. Sony customer service was very helpful. They had me send in the camera to be checked out. No problems, and the camera was returned. Sony then directed me to return the batteries ... I was able to purchase my brand new HDR-CX700VE on Ebay for a greatly discounted price. It was new in a sealed box for $1075. I spoke with the tech at Sony Repair who was looking at my camera and he told me Sony has had a lot of trouble with the larger size accessory batteries not working in some cameras. It seems the camera and this Sony 'InfoLithium Actiforce'talk back and forth with one another. I guess things have to be perfect for it to work correctly, or at all. Hope this helps someone thinking about getting a CX700. Fine camera for $1050 to $1100 in my view. piniongear

The HDR-CX675 is an excellent HD camcorder from Sony! I love it's simplicity, ease of use and great imagine/video recording quality. In terms of simplicity, it possess a very attractive and minimalist design that's second to none. It has a solid, well-built chassis with buttons that are firm and tackle. Once turned on, the camera's functions are very easy to navigate via it's 3" LCD screen. There are a wealth of menu options that will allow to customize / adjust everything it has to offer. Imagine quality in my opinion is outstanding! Whether taking stills or recording, this device will not disappoint. It's optical image stabilization and 60x zoom are among many of the great features this camcorder possesses. yes it worth the money.
I have this Camcorder I most said wow the image is amazing and the night vision is 10=++++++ I used this for Paranormal investigations and I love it Ghost Adventure Love it too this is the Camera they used on the shows.the price over 1,200.00 I think is fine is worth it but not anybody can afford to buy this camera I recommend it.you wont be disappointed.
