Does not work on Sony digital DVD & VHS
I have tried the converter on several TV's without RCA-style plugs for DVD & VHS. Does not convert anything. I did a search for the Sony DVD & VHS players. The manual reads that if the TV was not designed with the ability to view Progressive scan sent by the Sony DVD or VHS. The unit will not work. It could possibly be a cold reset. Nope. So I spent $20 for nothing. I have not tried an older or not Sony DVD or VHS player. I don't have any that I can try. The TVs I tried were both from the 2004 year of manufacture. Plastic case was melted out of the box. Plugged it in and you could smell the components were fried.
