Reel appears to be suboptimal as there is a sound of friction being made when turning the reel. This isn’t the case for even lower cost Shimano reels. Disappointing tho cannot necessarily say this is seller distributing low functioning reels or Shimano slacking on quality control. I can say I’ve never gotten a noisy Shimano reel from digitaka. I have not used the reel yet and have considered requesting a return.
