When the power button is pressed, it lights up green, the optical drive repeatedly tries to read (indicating that it has failed) and the fan will spin after a minute or so. It shows no other signs of life and does not make any beeps when keyboard keys are pressed. Physically, it has normal wear for its age but looks very good overall. The lid cover has normal light scratches and scuffs but nothing that stands out too much. On the inside, there is normal surface wear along the top edge of the screen bezel and front edge of the palmrest, as well as a couple discolored spots near the touchpad. The screen doesn't appear to have any flaws and should work fine. A genuine Sony 130w power adapter and untested battery are included. Sold AS-IS/ for parts or repair.”
